You are young, intelligent , and pretty. If Hollister in your area only hire tall thin girls . There are discrimination laws in every state, that if they ate reported , and found guilty, You cam file a Formal complaint . Get proof such as these pin thin anorexia , or bulimia girls who stave them- self 's without realizing what it is really doing to them . Brittle bones, Extreme hair lose, lost of teeth, gum disorders,The list goes on. I was a model and the highschool cheerleader very popular but I was a Cops daughter, and he was scary. I wouldn't allow other kids to bully the full figured girls, or make fun of different people. I was friendly to all. I never judged people on their weight. I knew girls who would starve themselves , after lunch they would all be in there puking up what they ate. Not me I jogged. I have had 3 child very young , I learned how to eat right limit my caloric invtake and I swim, jog weather permitting . It's so sad this still is to this day girls still are starving, thinking they have to be a size 0 or 2. I say to you go APPLY to the store you have to have self confidence.:) Be greatful you can see with your eyes , and listen to music , and your heathly....I hope this helps you and any skinny mini teenage girl who things they need to starve themselves . If you don't get the job and you notice only tall skinny girls with no breast and butts did then you take the pictures and place a complaint with the equal rights association . The average womens size in America today is size 14. I shop in juniors myself and take a 9.I look much younger then I am, but also I am grateful for a beautiful sunset, the stars, and my health. I am thankful to god that I am who I am.I have 2 legs and not in a wheelchair. I hope you get the job but there will properly be a wait in a long line it's so hard in today's economy to get a job. Most kids are finding it real hard to find a Job. A great job to get is I certified nursing assistant C. N. A 2 week course and imm employment. That pays double what you would make at a store. I did it at 17 . I had one lady from 3:00 till 7:00 pm it paid real well even back then. I worked all day Saturday took her shopping or to her appointments . It's called paying forward helping others who can no longer help themselves. It was awarding and I made a friend with great wisdom and advise. She would look forward to seeing me. She was homebound. She ended up dying and left me her car. Brand new. But I missed her. They gave me a new client and a raise. These days that job pays 12-20 an hour. Way better then retail.at what 7.00 an hour? Something to thing about I went on to become an R. N. . I made more then most 4 days a week 12 hours a day for 4 days and 3 days off . I made over 60,000 a year back then. I got to retire at 40 . I made great investments and live life very well. Another job to consider at your young age is makeup sales at Macy's, with commission. Or cell phone sales. Technology and health is where it's at!
