Do strength exercises like pull ups and push ups. For abs, do crunches and sit ups. I believe if you use the Nike training club to your advantage, it will help you get stronger. Just keep an exercise routine to do everyday. Maybe wake up in the morning and go for a job to increase cardio or something. The truth is that being tough is not really about how you look. It's really about your mentality. Looks are just intimidating to make it seem like someone is tough.
